Matthew Middleton and Texas Drive Country Band from Dallas, TX

Matthew Middleton and Texas Drive (formally known as Due South,) are a modern mix of traditional and rockin' country with a splash of classic rock that will get your fingers snappin' and your boots tappin'. When you are in need of a high energy band with professional musicians all you need to do is take a Texas Drive. Matthew, originally from the Dallas area has spent the 20 years away from home not only seeing the world but playing in every place that would let him. He started out in the Dallas area Opry's and then went on to play in the Army, where he made the soldier show. While he was in the Army he got a chance to be on a Nashville TV show called "The Nashville Star Seek" after the Army, Matthew moved to Alaska and then on to Arizona where he was one of the founding members of the famed tri-state band "Littletown." Being the front man of Littletown provided the professional experience that Matthew needed. While in Littletown he opened for many big named acts like: Molly Hatchett, Dierks Bentley, George Thorgood, Gary Allen, Vince Gill, Tracy Lawrence, Wade Hayes, Ritchie McDonald, Jamie O'Neal, Three Dog Night, Lee Ann Rimes, Willie Nelson, Dwight Yoakum, Cheech and Chong, and Bret Michaels. With Texas Drive we have opened for Texas Country artist Like The Josh Abbott Band, Wade Bowen The Cody Johnson Band Cody Wayne Band, Jamey Richards, Whiskey Myers, Bart Crow Rodger Creager Sonny Burgess, Jolie Holiday Tony Ramey . Texas Drive has national acts like Neal McCoy, Brad Davis, Ricky Lynn Gregg Chace Rice and Played With Craig Wayne Boyd. Matthew also got the chance to play at many Pro Rodeos around the South West. One of his highlights was when the band had to opportunity to play at the "Most Happiest Place On Earth," Disneyland. Now after being gone for so long Matthew has come home to Texas and play his rockin' brand of Country Music. On Fiddle is Kevin Freeman. From Greenville to Dallas he has shown why Country is his forte, he is one the top fiddlers in the state.
