47 South - Rochester’s Last Bus to Woodstock Cover Band from Victor, NY

47 South is a six-piece classic rock “hippie” band from the Rochester, New York area, bringing the music of the ’60s and ’70s to life with a fun, high-energy show built around songs people know and love. Our setlist features music from artists like The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Creedence Clearwater Revival, The Eagles, The Grateful Dead, Bob Seger, The Monkees, John Fogerty, The Hollies, and many more. We also mix in select favorites from the ’50s, ’80s, and beyond. We perform throughout Rochester, the Finger Lakes, Buffalo, Syracuse, and surrounding areas for corporate events, festivals, country clubs, private parties, community concerts, fundraisers, holiday events, and other special occasions. 47 South is more than a band standing onstage playing songs. We create a show. Multiple lead vocalists, professional sound, lighting, video, audience interaction, stories behind the music, and our “Last Bus to Woodstock” personality give every performance a nostalgic, feel-good atmosphere that connects especially well with audiences who grew up with this music. We typically perform 30–40 shows each year and are frequently invited back by venues and event organizers. We have also opened for nationally touring acts, including Hotel California. In 2023, 47 South was a national quarterfinalist in The Open Act competition, placing us in approximately the TOP 1% of more than 15,000 artists nationwide. But what matters most to us is the connection with the audience. We want people singing along, laughing, remembering where they were when they first heard these songs — and leaving the show feeling a little younger than when they arrived. If you’re looking for a professional, experienced band that does more than simply play the songs, climb aboard. 47 South — Rochester’s Last Bus to Woodstock.
