When you book with A Note Above the Rest, you will receive a personalized phone call to talk through the load in and setup details, attire, music selections, and any other important information. We provide a contract outlining these details as well as what you can expect from us. We provide duos, all the way through full cover bands for your special event. Common musicians groupings: Piano and Voice, Piano and Cello, Piano-Bass-Drums, Piano-Bass-Drums-Voice, String quartet, Full cover band - Keyboards, Guitar, Bass, Drums, Vocals, Horns. Partial Cover Band - Keyboards, Guitar, Bass, Drums, Voice. Many more configurations are available based on your event and request For larger events, we partner with sound and production companies to provide sound reinforcement, a stage, lighting, and more. For smaller events, we provide sound reinforcement. Can I Book a solo musician? Yes, Tony Hagood, the owner, also plays solo piano and books other musicians like guitar, harp and more for events requesting one musician Why did you start this company? I started studying music in 3rd grade and never looked back. Music is my life. Because of this, I've played thousands of events ranging from restaurants to stadiums and have learned a lot of best practices and made a lot of connections along the way. I want to help provide my friends and clients the best music for their event at a reasonable price in the simplest way possible. I've done a lot of the work so that you don't have to!
