Crowd Theory played my wedding in San Diego over Labor Day Weekend and they absolutely made the event! These guys are legit professional musicians! I've never seen a dance-floor so packed in my life. From pop hits to alt rock to dance to classic rock, every song was amazing. They are incredibly flexible (they will learn--and nail!--various special songs for you) and know exactly the type of music you are looking for.
I cannot wait to book them to play another party. If you are reading this, and you want a rocking and unique dance-floor experience for your wedding/party, look no further and book these guys before someone else does!

We could not be more pleased with choosing Crowd Theory as our wedding band! So many people came up to us and told us how much they loved our band and the songs they played. From classic hits to modern pop songs, they built a set list that catered to wedding guests of all ages, including the iconic Brown Eyed Girl and Last Night by the Strokes (a personal favorite!) They also did a wonderful job at our wedding ceremony and even learned an instrumental version of "I Want To Hold Your Hand" by the Beatles just for us. It made our ceremony so special. Thank you Crowd Theory for everything! We wish we could relive the day all over again.

Sean, Allison, Max and Nathan were great. I mainly coordinated with Sean over phone and he was very professional and courteous throughout the entire process. My wife and I wanted to sing a duet at our wedding and he even offered a complimentary practice session =)
The band was great live (even better than the promo videos) and got everyone on the dance floor. They were great for ceremony as well. Just all around a classy, versatile bunch. Would highly recommend Crowd Theory to anyone looking for a great band for any occasion.

Extremely professional, easy to work with, friendly, and incredibly talented, Crowd/Theory is surely a band on the rise. Every email was answered very quickly, the band was very flexible (accepted the gig with 5 days' notice) and accommodating, and most importantly, their music was AWESOME! If Crowd/Theory's set list is your type of music, do yourself a favor and book them now before they become famous and command fees beyond the reach of normal people. The entire event they put on was perfect. Everybody in attendance was blown away by the quality of their music, and by the end of the evening the band/client relationship felt like a friendship.

We booked Crowd Theory for my friend's 50th birthday party at the Raymond Restaurant in Pasadena CA. The band played a mix of current alt-rock with some 80s-90s. They were spot on covering the songs on their play list. Toward the end of the evening most of the party guests were up front near the band dancing to the music...it was a great birthday party with Crowd Theory.
The booking process and quick responses to questions was effortless with Sean's help. We were initially concerned that the venue space might be too small but Sean was extremely flexible and space turned out not to be an issue. I Highly recommend Crowd Theory!

I was extremely pleased with my experience working with Crowd Theory. Though there were a fun, hip band, exactly what I wanted for my wedding, they upheld a sense of professionalism and tact every step of the way. They were incredibly responsive, and eagerly took on extra jobs like serving as our MC for the night, and making sure the space was clean. I could count on them to make sure everything was working, and they successfully problem solved when it wasn't. They out together the perfect play list, keeping things upbeat and fun for most of the night, while weaving in a few slow songs when people needed a rest. I know Crowd Theory will make your event perfect!

Crowd Theory was amazing from booking to performing! They came out to play for my daughters 21st birthday on the day it was pouring rain in July! When does it ever rain in July, in Southern California?! I know...never! Anyway, Sean from Crowd Theory was so cool, calm, and collected over the whole thing. He reassured me that we would figure it out and her party would still be great. Boy, was he right! Our guests had a great time in the rain and dancing to Crowd Theory's amazing sound! Sean and his team were amazing right from the start. They were quick to respond to our emails, messages. They were flexible about the change of time. They learned a few new songs for our event. They even showed up really early to make sure of their set up. Very professional people. They rocked our party. Crowd Theory was amazing for our Finish Line Festival. Our event layout is a little unusual for most performers as we don't really have an area in front of the stage for people to hang out and jam. That being said, Crowd Theory was able to capture people's attention even though they were physically removed. They were engaging, upbeat and played the perfect music for our crowd. We hired Crowd Theory on relatively short notice for our wedding in North San Diego (they willingly travelled from LA for us) & was very easy to communicate with! I requested two songs for me and they pulled through with so much professionalism!
My wedding had no dancing and so I was worried the guests might be bored, but CT took into account any request I had with regards to the timing, vibe/feel, and kept the guests entertained from start to finish! You won't regret hiring Crowd Theory! Thank you Sean for being so great to work with :)

Sean and the Crowd Theory team did a great job rocking our wedding! All band members are outstanding musicians who each played their instruments very well and could improvise to create a truely unique show for us and our guests. Many of our guests let us know how great the band is. Sean and his team did great to accommodate the changes we wanted in the weeks before and also on the wedding night as the caterer was running late and they needed to stretch the dinner music longer. We did not have a chance to see the band live before the wedding (which we were apprehensive about booking), but there is nothing to worry about with Crowd Theory! Thank you so much! T&E
