Rivertown is a rock 'n' roll cover band that hails from central/coastal Maine. As a group, and individuals, they have toured and recorded with rock and country legends such as Conway Twitty, Lee Greenwood, Hot Wax, The Kruger Bros., Johnnie Tillotson, B.J. Thomas, Dottie West, Ricky Nelson, The Fat Boys, Mel McDaniel, Commander Cody, Danny Harper, and Loose Change...just to name a few. In addition, they play original songs and songs from the 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's to current hits and they pride themselves for being able to adapt and play for those special events. Rivertown is a seven piece band that excels with non-stop, extra long sets of perfect classic rock. Rivertown band members have acquired their professional experience and expertise by performing on the same stage with the Conway Twitty, BJ Thomas, Lee Greenwood, Johnny Tillotson, Dottie West, Mel McDaniel, Commander Cody and others playing for Festivals, Weddings, Corporate Events, Universities, & Night Clubs. They have performed at venues such as the Augusta Civic Center, Bangor Auditorium, State Fairs and corporations such as Bob's Cash Fuel, Inc., E.W. Littlefield, Inc., and H.E. Sargent, but have also covered complete weddings including the Ceremony, Cocktail Hour, Dinner, (live jazz background music) & Dancing portion. This is a testament to their versatility, as they can perform anything from Duke Ellington to The Beatles to Van Halen & everything in between! Rivertown comprises of schooled musicians from USM, Berklee, VT, and UMF. They play original material as well as songs from the 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's to current hits and they pride themselves for being able to play for those special events.....
