Rob Silkensen hails from Pasadena. He brings a unique and exciting sound to audiences of all kinds. Rob is a singer /guitarist / one nan band who has been performing every weekend at El Portal restaurant in Pasadena for past 2 years as well as a featured artist for the City of Monterey Park Dances for over 10 years. Rob performs weekly at other local venues and private parties as well. Rob brings an eclectic mix of hits that cater to a wide range of musical tastes. A fusion of American classics and Spanish favorites that is always a big hit for audiences of all ages. Occasionally Rob invites his friend John Rocca on the midi accordion. Together they provide an almost concert experience with lush symphonic and dynamic arrangements that capture each song in its originality. What sets Rob apart from others ? The sound. Rob combines the festivity and rhythms of Latin and European culture with that of western pop, rock and country. All delivered thru a portable state of the art PA. Rob has a full band sound that is great for dancing. As a soloist with a full band sound Rob requires less space, set up time and is able to accommodate most budgets. When you hire entertainment its not the amount of people on stage its what they can do. Simply put Rob does much more with much less. This is a win for our clients.
