The Smokin’ Ocotillos bring people together through great live music, creating memorable experiences for weddings, corporate events, private parties, and special celebrations throughout San Diego County and beyond. Based in Oceanside, we’re proud to be part of the North County music scene and perform at venues and events throughout the region. Our sound blends country rock, Southern rock, and rock favorites spanning the decades, along with plenty of familiar songs that appeal across generations. From relaxed music early in the evening to crowd favorites that get guests singing along and out on the dance floor, we read the room and shape each set to fit the moment. The Smokin’ Ocotillos combine polished musicianship with a fun, engaging presence. We come prepared, communicate clearly, and tailor every performance to the event and the audience—whether it’s an elegant wedding reception, a company celebration, a milestone birthday, or a casual backyard party. Some of the places we’ve performed include The Surf Club, The Hangar 76, Humphrey’s Backstage, Coomber Craft Wines, The Camp Store, Local Roots, Breakers, the San Diego County Fair, the Oceanside Elks Lodge, and the Oceanside and Escondido Moose Lodges.
