The Hot Tub Piranhas The Hot Tub Piranhas formed in 2013 as a four-piece classic and contemporary rock cover band, performing throughout the greater North Shore, Boston, and Southern New Hampshire areas for an appreciative and fun-loving fan base. In late 2018, founding member, manager, and lead vocalist Wesley Anthony Thibodeau reformed the H.T.P.’s with three additional members, turning the band into a powerhouse (septet) 7-piece band with a wider variety of genres and styles centered around dance-able Classic Rock, Motown/R&B, Funk and Pop. In 2024, we added a seventh member to the Hot Tub Piranha family, expanding our sound even further. Our instrument arsenal includes drums, bass guitar, rhythm and lead guitars, baritone, alto and tenor saxophone, flute, piano/keyboards, harmonica, one lead vocalist, and four backing vocalists. This gives the band great flexibility in the musical menu we can offer. The members of the band have extensive experience in live performance and studio recording, and all have been performing since their early teens. Though we’re not kids anymore, we still rock with the best of them and can get anyone—from ages 8 to 80—pumped up, dancing, jamming, and having fun. Our music appeals to all age groups, as our performance history has shown us, and it only keeps getting better with the wide variety of material we continue to add to our song catalog.
