Classic rock is their main genre with an emphasis on Tom Petty, Fleetwood Mac, The Beatles, Sheryl Crow, & Rolling Stones. As their music “takes you back” they also sprinkle in favorites from other genres —60’s through the music of today. They’ve also created some custom medleys to keep everyone on the dance floor, ensuring your guests never experience a “dead air” or awkward moment. Upon booking Uptown Live, a band member or band representative personally meets with every client to plan and customize each event. Set lists and schedules are always catered to specific venues and celebrations, keeping everyone engaged and crowds consistently gathered at fairs, festivals, family functions, corporate parties, clubs and celebrations. Performances are always family friendly and appropriate for all ages with special surprises and/or party favors for those with children or special needs. All Uptown Live band members are experienced, professional musicians who play live—without the assistance of recorded tracks. They have shared the stage with many legendary artists, including but not limited to: Michael Bolton, Fats Domino, Huey Lewis, Natalie Cole, The Four Tops, Ray Wylie Hubbard, Pat Minter, Point Blank, Debbie Gibson, Sparky Matejka, The Oak Ridge Boys, Andy Timmons, Lindy Wilson, Restless Heart, and Toby Keith. Uptown Live can be scaled up or down to match the needs of individual clients.
