Dr Zoot is a versatile dance/show band performing music of the last 100 years and doing it all quite well.The full band is 7 piece but can be expanded or made smaller if needed.The normal lineup is keyboard,bass drums,guitar,sax,trumpet & trombone with 4 of the musicians singing lead and harmony. The band is based in Pittsburgh,PA but travels frequently through the eastern states.Now in their 16th year they have averaged 100 gigs per year(corporate parties,weddings,dances,concerts,nightclubs etc) They have recorded 8 full length CD's with original music that has been placed in TV and film.In the summer months the band frequently performs as Zoot Island for beach party type events also.

Dr Zoot was the perfect band for our wedding and were absolutely fabulous! They handled music for the ceremony with a 3 piece group and music for the party with 7 pieces! They accommodated our requests and made our day very special. Almost everyone got up and danced including the 70 + crowd as well as the youngsters. We love them and would hire them again in a minute! Many thanks!

This is an amazing band with amazing talent and very friendly and professional. Other than getting the bride and groom‘s married name wrong at introductions they were absolutely perfect. But I guess that happens once in a while. As far as the band directly though I would highly suggest them and I would book them again!!
