The band was outstanding. The music was unbelievable (any videos you might see of them don't do it justice). And they were super accommodating + great communicators, as we needed them to be for our wedding.

This band is legit!!!
Their sound is authentic and simply amazing. Both strong vocals and instrumentation. If you are looking for the Cuban musical experience, don't go to Cuba .... hire Son de Cuba.

Son de Cuba had all my guests tapping their feet to the amazing music that we curated together. The band were extremely friendly, Tony had an amazing and infectious spirit and was so loving to our guests and my little kiddo. Even offered to have him play the Congo drums!
I will surely invite Son de Cuba for my next event and highly recommend them for any wedding, birthday or celebration.

Natasha and her family were so sweet to us. They treated us very well, made sure our needs were met. She made us feel at home at her property. Sweet family and guests were very hospitable. They wouldn’t let us leave before feeding us again. Definitely would love to work with this client again in the future. Thanks so much for everything!

We had a great experience with Son de Cuba coming to perform at the University of Portland. Tony was great and led a 30 minute salsa dancing lesson before the band performed for about 90 minutes. Great guys and great sound!

First, Son de Cuba is very professional both in their musical talents and their business dealings. Second, this is a great salsa band. They are talented, well rehearsed, energetic, and fun. Tony who handled the booking with us was communicative and cooperative. This was my second opportunity to hear Son de Cuba at a party event. They were simply great on both occasions. If you are looking for an band to lift the energy of your event and get people on their feet, look no further than Son de Cuba!

Tony was AMAZING! His enthusiasm was contagious! He got the husbands dancing salsa--not an easy feat! The musicians were also VERY TALENTED --the trumpet player was spectacular and the band was very 'tight.' The ONLY THING I would do differently when I hire them again (which I will)--is ask them to play ACOUSTIC ONLY--no amplification. I wanted to talk during the performance/party and it was too loud to talk. That was my only disappointment. The band doesn't need amplification for the size of room at Secret Society. Their acoustic sound alone will keep everyone dancing and sharing in conversation. Thank you Tony and Son de Cuba--hasta pronto! Aimée

Tony with Son de Cuba was quick to respond to my inquiry and then carried that stellar service throughout the entire planning process. They were happy to shape their performance and service to fit the needs of my event starting with a three piece band, transitioning to a 6 piece band, giving dance lessons to my guests then ending the night with DJ services. It was a pleasure to work with them and they will be the first band I call in the future.

Hired Son de Cuba for a celebration of Carnaval at the University of Portland and the band was WONDERFUL. Got students dancing (a near impossible task), Great vocals and musical talent. Band members were all very pleasant. Would/will hire again! highly recommend for weddings, and events intended to keep the audience engaged!
