The Revelettes Dance Group from Chicago, IL

We are a campy, clever, flirty, funny dance troupe specializing in '60s-style go-go dancing. While our moves, 'dos, and dress hearken back to the '60s, our outlook and appeal are solidly contemporary. We perform at summer festivals, live music concerts, kids' workshops, cabaret-style variety shows, late-night theatrical productions, and everything in between. We perform fun, exuberant choreography to recorded music (for example, between band sets or at cabaret-style shows) and onstage with live bands; we also do improvised dancing on stage. We dance to songs by a wide spectrum of artists, such as Shirley Bassey, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Nino Ferrer, Annette Funicello, Los Straitjackets, Nancy Sinatra, The She Creatures, Ike & Tina Turner, Link Wray...and the list goes on. We have been featured in BUST Magazine, the Chicago Journal, Chicago Magazine, the Chicago Tribune, Jim Derogatis' blog at the Sun-Times, New City, and RedEye, and have appeared on ABC7's 190 North, hipster-rocker kid's show Chic-a-Go-Go, and Fox Chicago's Good Day Chicago.
