A Little About Us Tina Abernathy, Owner and Lead DJ Tina holds a bachelors degree in Public Relations, is an experienced corporate-level event coordinator, has over 20 years dance training, and is skilled in music design and mixing. By day she's a Federal contractor in the criminal justice field, but after hours she's the DJ at the helm of the controller, executing digitally-driven sound. In addition to handling client coordination and the day-to-day business, Tina is a skilled line dance instructor offering lessons in advance of events and on-site. Melinda Porterfield, Lead DJ Melinda holds a bachelors degree in English, served for ten years as a high school teacher and guidance counselor, but is now also a Federal contractor in the criminal justice field. Melinda brings a high level of enthusiasm and energy to the booth! Through her teaching experience, she is keenly knowledgeable of lyric appropriateness for school-sponsored and family events. Rose Donaldson, Lead DJ Rose has been spinning on the ones-and-twos for several years as an independent DJ and we are lucky to have her join our ranks, bringing her amazing mixing and beat-matching skills, as well as her groovy style to the lineup. By day, she is a web manager for Florida State University, applying her creative style to the online student education arena. Hayden Johnson, Assistant DJ Hayden is a master at mixing music and provides excellent support to our lead DJs on site. When not in the booth, Hayden designs apparel art for her online Etsy store, captions promotional videos and movies, and enjoys working with baby animals at the Pet Stop.
