DJ M.I.R.A. (the funky white boy) DJ from Scottsdale, AZ

9 year ago, I wanted to be the best DJ in the world that no one would ever know. After practicing 10,000 hours before taking my first stage for money, I could definitely be in that conversation but no need to take my word for it, my YouTube channel has 71 videos on it that will show my range both musically and with lighting and production. If you are trying to create in event that people have never seen anything like before, I can take it over the top if you wish, I can turn almost any space into something you would only expect to see at a music festival if you wish but I can scale it back to just music and you won't be disappointed. https://www.youtube.com/@funkywhiteboy/videos I played 6 instruments starting at 2 years old with piano and violin, IMHO the difference between a musician that became a DJ is significant from one that just presses play on songs and effectively becomes a very expensive jukebox. If that is what you want, that is definitely not me, that takes absolutely no skill whatsoever. I am in a category of one and I'm pretty darn versatile. For ex.... a) I will take an old school hip hop song switch out the baseline and funk it up and make it different. b) I spend thousands of hours looking for music to create a vibe and I enjoy that hunt greatly. There is a very very small subset of music that appeals to 15 year olds as well as 75 year olds and I have unlocked that secret. It's funky/groovy remakes of songs spanning the 60's through today, I'm batting 100% with this strategy.....people of all ages love it, they recognize the song and can sing along but have never heard this version before. c)I can take 3 songs like Beck, Tribe Called Quest, + something funky and make it sound like it all belonged to be together, it's the musical equivalent of juggling. d)But if you want to throw a rave in your backyard with a disco ball rotating over your pool, I can do that too. I do not book any events that are not a fit for me, if I can't do it, I won't tell you I can. But.....for the parties that I am a fit for, you would be hard pressed to find a local or touring DJ who can do it like or better than me.
