Planning family reunions remotely can be very tricky. In the past years, relying on local recommendations from family members regarding a DJ often left us quite disappointed: inappropriate music, their attire and attitude. This was my final year on the planning committee and I wanted to end it on a high note. The ultimate test came from a cousin who always offers "constructive feedback" on how things could be improved (bless her heart). Toward the end of the banquet, she sought me out for her usual check-in. To my delight, she was all smiles, demonstrating how the music had her waving her hands in the air all night! The Bash, DJ Mel Sanders, highly recommend!

Our event was outdoors in this chilling November weather (bonfire party). DJ Mel was very professional and punctual. He kept the guest dancing, which was needed to stay warm. I will definitely share his contact information and use him for any future events we may have.

Talk about a DJ that knows how to blend in with your family. We had a family reunion in a 14 bedroom cabin located in the Smoky Mountains.We booked him for 5 hours. DJ Mel had everyone at our family reunion dancing. He had the youngest (my son 21months) to the oldest (65ish) jamming the entire event. He played music for everyone. We all enjoyed DJ Mel. He traveled 3 hours to us and his price was the best of all quotes. Book DJ Mell if you wanna have a party party! Thank you DJ Mel!

Very pleased with the performance of DJ Melle Mel. Good mix of oldies and new songs and definitely gave an adding boost to our event.

Mel was great to work with! He quickly and (seemingly) effortlessly worked with me to plan an unforgettable dance experience for our Anniversary celebration. He had us all out on the dance floor from the 8-80year olds. I’d absolutely work with him again!!!!

I’m a wedding planner speaking for myself & my clients. I was worried things wouldn’t go well when Mel called me two times in a row two days before the wedding at almost 10:00 PM to talk about the timeline I shared weeks before. During the event, I continually had to ask him to return to the songs they said they wanted, they randomly played Eye of the Tiger as they walked into the reception, struggled with long, drawn out MCing, would turn off songs right in the middle of people dancing, and argued with the groom about payment despite not having an invoice to know the balance due. I could write more but am out of characters. I do not plan on hiring DJ Mel again.
