Darryl “FollowtheDj” Dungee AKA Mr. Turn the Heat up was born in Baltimore (City) Maryland. Hip Hop helped him handle many tough obstacles in his life –turning his listening (music) into a passion to create music as a Rap Star and DJ. “FollowtheDj” has multiple musical influence growing up such as; Tupac, Notorious BIG, and local hero; DJ Rod Lee, DJ Boobie, and Supa DJ Big L to name a few. At the age of 15, “FollowtheDj” started cultivating his passion into his grind –molding his destiny!! Throughout the years, “FollowTheDj” has performed at numerous events in the DMV areas, which includes The Baltimore Believe Tour sponsored by the Baltimore City Mayors Office, Coppin College Tours that included industry artists such as TI and Keisha Cole…many different Night Club's and Open Mic battles as well as private parties and sweet 16 birthday's. He has also done special shows, street festivals and fundraisers for his Community and others including performing for the Honor Roll Students at Pimlico Middle School in Baltimore Maryland to encourage the youth to stay in school and continue getting good grades. He has also work with the late Khia “DJ K-Swift” Edgerton (May she rest in peace) featured on her album titled “Jump Off, Vol. 8: Next Level Edition” and was featured on “DJ Rod Lee” album titled” Rod Lee The Producer” both albums distributed by Unruly Records and Club Kingz. “FollowTheDj” has worked with many different producers & artists within the DMV are… Rod Lee, who produced hits for (Boss-man, and Paula Campbell), Shawn Campbell who produced records for (Missy Elliott, Avant and Karina Passion), “Street Heat” aka Todd Scott who produced for Jeluez Santana's Skull Gang Records he produced records for (Jim Jones and Jeluez Santana), IDB Productions own Teddy (The Bear) Davis who has worked with artist such as (Don Jaun, Raheem DeVaughn, Ginuwine, Lil Mow and Dru Hill).FollowTheDj has also worked with the famous Sean Banks & Producer Don Trunk of who worked with such artist as (Latoya Luckett, Gucci Man, Mims and Ace Hood) as well as DJ services for 2 CHAINZ , AND MEEK MILLS.
