Joanna Bellas DJ from Astoria, NY

Hi! I’m Joanna, and I’d love to help make your special occasion unforgettable through music. Music has been a huge part of my life from an early age. I’m a multi-instrumentalist who plays guitar, bass, and piano, and I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Songwriting from Berklee College of Music. Becoming a DJ felt like a natural extension of that lifelong passion, and there’s nothing I enjoy more than bringing that energy and love for music to an event. As a DJ, I focus on reading the room and creating the right atmosphere for every moment. Whether you’re looking for laid-back, cool vibes, the perfect soundtrack to set the tone, or a high-energy dance floor that keeps people moving all night, I tailor the music to you, your guests, and the energy of the occasion. My musical taste and library span a wide range of genres, eras, and styles, which allows me to adapt throughout an event and create a seamless experience from beginning to end. I’m always happy to work with your must-play songs, favorite artists, and overall vision while also knowing when to switch things up based on the crowd. Every event has its own personality, and my goal is to create a soundtrack that feels just as unique—one that brings people together, keeps the energy flowing, and leaves you and your guests with great memories long after the last song.
