DJ Max was a BIG hit. He arrived early and was very prepared. He played all the right music and kept the dance floor full. We even requested that he stay longer, our guests were having such a good time.

We hired Max for two parties and are very satisfied with his performance and music selection. Our house was rocking and the guests hit the dance floor right away. It was such a success that we will keep contracting him for our future events.

I was pleased with the way DJ Max listed to my requests for particular songs. A while before the event I expressed to him certain songs I would like to have played and when. He remembered with out any reminders and played them at the appropriate time. He even reminded me of a request I made in advance. He was friendly and approachable.
He did not inform me in advance of his need for table space but that issue was resolved. I think he needs to be more vocal at events to get the sttendees hyped up.

I decided not to be too vocal at that event because thats what the crowd dictated. It was an advanced in age, laid back type of crowd, and they wanted to dance and have fun at their own pace. I am a very versatile DJ that knows when to hype it up, and also knows when to mellow it out. Nevertheless, the crowd had a great time as every crowd at a DJ MAX POWERS event always does.

We would like to thank DJ Max for doing a great job at our party. He was on time and very professional and very good at what he does. DJ Max came out to DJ our party even during a hurricane, so I would say he is very accommodating. The guest loved him and had a great time. He really saved our party, especially when it was difficult for our guest to get there. He made the event a "blast" and all of our guests wants to use him for future events.
We want to thank him again for doing an excellent job and showing up during Hurricane Irene. We will definately be using you again for our future events. You are truely great at what you do!

DJ Max Powers did an excellent job during my daughters' 13th birthday party. He was very professional and proactive in ensuring that the music selection was age appropriate. DJ Max Powers was very accessible before the date of the event and for all of our questions. Everyone had a great time. I would highly recommend and will definitely use him again for my next function.

Dj Max powers was so great. I got a lot of compliments on choosing him as a DJ. I will use him for every party I throw and people at my school want him for their parties. He came, set up and played every song that would keep people dancing. When a song was requested before I could even walk away the song was playing. Everybody at my school loved every song he played and how he mixed the songs and how he switched genres with such a structure and with organization. The only problem is, with me leaving this good comment,people are going to want him and somebody might book him on a night that I will need him. lol

DJ Max was AWESOME my daughters 16th birthday party was a FANTASTIC hit is what all her friends and family said. The music was EXCELLENT he played a variety for all ages and everyone had a GREAT time.

DJ Max Powers was very responsive and professional during interactions leading up to the event. Unfortunately, he was very insistent on deviating from the initial plan we had discussed for the flow of the event mood music. Of course, in the end, my husband and our guests had a great time during our wedding reception, but I do wish that DJ Max had heeded to our requests and instructions a bit more seriously.

I sincerely apologize for any mixup. This was a case where a judgement call had to be made. The crowd had been sitting down for a long time and they were getting antsy. I was told that the most important thing was to make sure everybody had a great time. The crowd was ready to party, and according to the timeline I was given, it was time to get the party started, so I started playing more upbeat music. The event was a masterpiece,everybody had a wonderful time. I was getting thanked all night. I strive to make sure that my client's musical vision become a reality at EVERY event.

He played Mardi Gras music as well as old school and contemporary music.
No one wanted to leave which is a sign of a good party.

DJ Max Powers was very easy to communicate with leading up to the day of our wedding. However, on the day of we wish we could have heard more songs on the list given prior to our wedding date. We did request a mix of old school and new, but way to much old school was played at our wedding (we are 27yrs old). Had to make a couple requested to changing the music. Afterwards it was much better. We would recommend him, but would urge any couple to make it well known what they want to be played and hope for the best.

DJ Max was good in meeting with us to plan for our Reunion Banquet Dinner/Dance which ranged in ages from 87 - 13 yr olds. However he did encounter some car troubles and contacted me 1 hour before hand to explain and reschedule. We had requested light jazz music to start our banquet dinner, but this was not played. He chose to play what he thought was approriate instead. The Banquet began at 7:30 and due to traffic he showed at 7:45 pm. He called w/ message stating he'd be there by 7:10 pm. Later I had to locate him to cue the music off and he was in the buffet line piling his plate with food. Over all he did OK as a last minute DJ w\lighting + traveling 60 miles.

My professionalism is my main trait. I'm never late and I always make sure that the client gets EXACTLY whats agreed upon. It was raining on my way to the event. My SUV skidded off the road and ended up on the side of the highway. I immediately called and left a voicemail. I resolved the problem and was on the road as quickly as possible. I arrived at 7:15pm not 7:45pm. I was all set up and playing by 7:40pm. Being late was an anomaly not a habit. The party was a hit and the guests were telling me I was the best DJ they've had. I strive to improve my client's experience at every event, and I will continue to work hard to do so to the absolute best of my ability.

Very courteous and professional. Custom music list was accommodated with minimal song overlap between songs as requested. On time and ready to go by stated start time. Awesome product
