Pulsations Event Services DJ from New York City, NY

Contract was for 7pm-11pm- Did not even ARRIVE until 7:35 - was not even done setting up at 8pm. MTV screen not what it was made out to be. They only gave me at $75 discount after an hour was wasted of their 4 hour window The charged $198.50 per hour ! After I asked for an hour discount , which was the least they could do since they were not set up 100% even at 8pm, they threatened to just leave. She actually walked out to her van to leave and had her asst. stop the song she was playing! We had guests arrive at 7pm on the dot to a silent event hall. WE had to get the event manager's boombox and get CD's out of cars! They were good for about an hour during our contests we had planned, and then kids started leaving left and right. Out party was actually over earlier than it should have been. She did not speak to the crowd unless it was during a contest or something we asked her to do. It was horrible and I would not reccommend them for anything. My daughter's 18th birtdhay party that we spent almost $5K was ruined thanks to them. I have ahd many large partied and we have always had DJ's speak to the crowd and be funny and have them get on the dance floor. Usually they know if the song they play makes everyone leave the floor, they change the song, not play anohter one just like it ! We could not have been any more dissatisfied !
