This is a story about the fire inside and how a man who was once a victim of the evils of homelessness tried, and failed, and hoped, and evolved, and regretted, and mourned, and tried again. It is a story that reveals the impossibility of being a moral person in a fundamentally immoral system. You are an underdog and you need to hear this. A researcher and writer, I am a man with steadfast determination. Recently, I earned a Doctorate despite being homeless for almost a decade.
