I am Matthew Spalding from Atlanta, GA. I perform all eras of Elvis, but I specialize in the Early years, the birthplace of today's Rock-n-Roll. I compete with other Elvis Tribute Artists throughout the southeast and have been fortunate to place in most every contest. I was honored when I won the first ever Southeastern Regional Tribute to the King Competition. I headlined at the Piedmont Interstate Fair in Spartanburg, SC every October for the past 6 years and placed in the top ten of the Ultimate Elvis Contest in Tupelo, MS in 2011. I'm a humble down to earth guy that's just myself off stage but onstage I do what it takes to recreate Elvis to the best of my ability to make you feel like you've gone back in time. I am also available for DJ events. Performed in front of Graceland for several years I'm available for birthdays, weddings, parties, sing-a-grams, DJ events - no venue is too big or small and am willing to work with all budgets. Dallas, GA June 2015 ~I wanted to thank you for coming to NorthSpring again last Saturday. The residents and everyone there had a great time...just like last time! I went by on my lunch hour yesterday and talked to Trudy and Renee. We all looked at the pictures we took and laughed and enjoyed the good time all over again. That was so cool that you put the one of me dancing with you Elvis! You are the best Elvis and so amazing with the residents! Seeing these ladies respond to him and come out of their shell is so touching, so sweet and sometimes so hilarious! Trudy and I got a little teary eyed when he sang Love Me Tender to Miss Billie and she sang with him...then we laughed out loud when Miss Flo danced at her walker and said "Who needs oxygen!" and Matt said he did! If laughter is the best medicine--we got a huge dose on Saturday! I am in awe of you!! We are looking forward to seeing you again...soon we hope...but at least for a Christmas show. Janet D.
