Melvis Elvis Impersonator from Lebanon, TN

David pays tribute to Elvis as in the 70's Vegas shows.David does not claim to be a Elvis Impersonator.But wishes to remember,respect and honor the man who influenced him as a youngster to play guitar. In grammer school David longed to play in the school band. Naturally the band director would require those wanting in the band to be tested. David was tested and failed twice.The director told his Dad that David was tone deaf and would never be able to play a musical instrument. David's heart was broken! David's Mom being an Elvis fan,exposed him to his music and he became interested in the guitar. Determined not to be defeated, David set out to learn the guitar---borrowed from his father.That he did and went on to play in a high school Rock & Roll Band and also played at church.Later there were other groups but never the desire to sing until being shocked by Elvis's passing in 1977. So inspired by Elvis's music,David promised to God that if he could sing like Elvis, he would use his talent for God. Meanwhile, during the years 1977 thru 1981 David played in a country band,began writing,singing and not to mention breaking his promise to God. In 1992, the tragic loss of his beloved daughter Kristy, brought to realization he must as promised sing Gospel Music. Currently David has two Southern Gospel CD releases as well as being with the Cedar City Quartet. David gives praise to God for all his talents and the influence he allowed Elvis to have on his life.
