I’m Valerie Ojeda, a Los Angeles event emcee, corporate host and trade show presenter with more than 20 years of experience and over 1,000 events worldwide. I’ve been trusted by brands across a wide range of industries, including Microsoft, Dell, HPE, 3M, Honda, Sony, Panasonic and Epson, but one of the things I’m proudest of is how often clients bring me back again and again. I genuinely love what I do, I love working with event teams, and I believe that energy shows up both onstage and behind the scenes. Known as “The Event Chameleon,” I can move from polished corporate messaging to high-energy audience interaction, executive interviews, conversational hosting or completely unscripted moments without missing a beat. I don’t just introduce what’s next and disappear. I read the room, keep people engaged, get audiences involved when it makes sense and help create a flow that makes the entire event feel more connected, more energized and a lot more fun. My background in producing, marketing and sales also means I understand the bigger picture behind an event. I’m always thinking about the client’s message, the audience experience, what we’re trying to accomplish and how I can help make all of it land. I understand that there’s a team behind every stage, a brand behind every message and a reason behind every moment. My experience includes corporate conferences, trade shows, brand activations, awards programs, fundraisers, black-tie galas, sporting events, outdoor and family events, and everything in between. Some events require every word to be carefully scripted. Others need someone who can think fast, improvise, fill unexpected time, help an executive feel comfortable onstage or turn up the energy when a room needs it. I’m happy doing all of it. Behind the microphone, I’m prepared, collaborative, flexible and very easy to direct.
