The Good Ship Bathory is a variety act performance and art studio. Our members are a few dedicated artists and performers who love to live their craft. They are great for birthday parties,  corporate events, parades, weddings, concerts, photoshoots, openings, art shows, the list goes on! Whatever your theme, we can work with you to create an interactive experience your guests won't forget! Some additional set decorations and party enhancements available to rent, as well, such as a pool for the mermaid to swim in, photo ops with props, lights and bubbles, and more!

Currently featuring :

The Mermaid Undine- an otherworldly creature of the water, who will entrance audiences young or old alike! Available for dry or wet events, come take a picture with her, hear a story, sing a song! Get your fortune told, or even take a swim with her! Also an adept underwater model.

Captain Mad Tam and her pirate crew The Good Ship Bathory- book one or more pirates to raid your event with swashbuckling flare! Great improv, wandering crowd interaction, good photo opportunities, all around fun. Baudy ballads, face painting, or story telling available as well! 

Peppermint, Cinnamon,  and Winter the Christmas elves, and her Highness the Snow Queen- adding play and magic to your winter celebration with these delightful characters. They can sing, play games, and in general create a little holiday cheer and mischief!

Dr Bedlam's Steampunk Carnival Cadre- Give any theme a steampunk touch, be it carnival, burlesque,  mad science,  or airships! Stilt walking, firespinning, ghost stories,  and interactive characters! Experienced stiltwalker and very experienced fire spinner available.

While The Bathory is in it's nature a dark themed studio, specializing in Gothic, steampunk, and burlesque styles, we are versatile and avid costumers and can accommodate any theme from princess to pirate, and even zombies! We are a pleasure for adult events, but we are also very child friendly, and can happily keep to whatever appropriate rating is established, be it "G" or "R". We are seasoned actors in entertaining crowds and parties and we love kids, so whatever the age of your party goers, we can find a character that will inspire and entertain. We currently have only original characters available. We do not offer mascot-type characters.

Our principle members have many years experience in various venues and films. They also are stilt performers, able to walk easily through crowds and parades.

The Good Ship Bathory was  hired to provide special effects makeup for the general public attending the "Day of the Undead" event at the Carter Library on October 26, 2020.  Not only was this vendor talented in their trade and exhibit outstanding customer service, they were even flexible enough to provide a formal demonstration with no notice in our theater when another vendor dropped out last minute.  The presentation was extremely professional and enjoyable for those in attendance and I highly recommend taking advantages of their services!

I would highly recommend SickHouse Sisters, she was engaged with the customers and did not wait for customers to come to her.  She was perfect for my event an Ocktoberfest.
