The whole crowd was totally mesmerized by Wes’ group and persona. From the very first downbeat until the last song, my guests couldn’t stay in their seats! Wes also did a great job of keeping my audience engaged and in tune with the usual wedding minutia, and kept it it upbeat and fun. As for the music, I am personally not easily impressed with most cover bands, as I am a longtime musician myself, but his band shredded every song and played at a very professional level with the stuff that people want to hear. The group wasn’t cheap, but worth every penny. I’m glad they were willing to travel to handle our event. They were perfect at every turn, from being on time, respectful and very in tune with our needs and timeline. I just wish I lived closer to San Diego, so I could catch more of their gigs! Ed Medina edmedina@verizon.net Unfortunately, I have yet to be hired on The Bash, however; I have played almost every venue in San Diego, CA and some in Arizona and Las Vegas. I've done from Blues, with The Juke Stompers, to R&B & Top 40's with Makai, all based out of San Diego, CA. I have opened for Roger & Zapp, The GAP Band, Fredda Payne, James Cotton & Ike Turner. I also played the Republican National Convention when it was held in San Diego in 1998. I am a Master Personal Trainer. I also hold a Bachelors Degree in Business Management with concentration in Marketing, graduated 2005. After taking a 14 year break from the Music scene to help raise my family of 3 little ones, the youngest now 14, I've decided to come back to the San Diego music scene, but stronger and better than ever before. I've honed my vocal skills and my body to be ready for 2022 and beyond. My vocal style is compared to Charlie Wilson, Rick James, Jefferey Osborne and James Brown. I've even done Andre Bocelli, Michael Jackson, Justin Timberlake and Prince to name a few. I love taking their songs and making them my own. Give me a shout, trust me, you won't be disappointed with the show. My variety includes R&B, Funk, Soft Rock, Reggae, Rap & Afro Beats, yes I do it all. I will please everyone at your event I guarantee it!!! So, just because your not seeing several bookings in the past on this site, I've been hired for several private parties and events through Craigslist, Facebook and word of mouth in my vast music career, give me a shot, you won't be sorry you did.
