Hi, my name is Mark and I am the owner/operator of Party Makers. The more comfortable people are in their environment the more likely they will let loose a little and have some fun on the dance floor. * I am very adept at "reading" a crowd and playing the right music for the right people. When I DJ I play sets of 3 or 4 songs and transition seamlessly into the next category of music. I encourage requests and mix them in accordingly. I try to make sure that everyone at the party hears a song that they would like to dance to. * I enjoy all types of music from all eras and instinctively know what to play with the requests I get and what to do when I see people respond to certain types of songs. Many DJ's only know one type of music or just aren't true music lovers, not the case here! *I am not "cookie cutter" or "cheesy" in my music selection. If the crowd wants Old Time Rock and Roll, YMCA or a line dance I have it but I never play one song after another where every song is a song you hear at every party. I am very capable of gearing my music towards your likes and dislikes and can DJ a party with as many or as few DJ "standards" as you would like. If you have a "don't play" list I'm ready for it! I can make any and all announcements and facilitate whatever formalities you have going on with a focus on music and dancing. However, I can also incorporate games, contests and trivia into your night if that's what you are looking for. I also have a karaoke library of over 40,000 songs always included at no additional charge. If I am your wedding DJ. I will work out a very detailed itinerary with you so you can then relax and enjoy when the big day comes around. The Bride and Groom shouldn't be wondering why something is happening that shouldn't be with their DJ or vice versa. I will not take you "out of the moment", just help you make the most of it!
