Cape & Islands Entertainment was our DJ at our wedding on Cuttyhunk Island and they did a spectacular job! Ron Larrivee is one of the nicest guys ever! He was incredibly accommodating on all of our specific requests, very complimentary of all our work and overall just wonderful to work with! The dance floor was full throughout the reception and we had a blast! We want to thank Ron and his daughter Emilie for making our wedding reception a party we know our family and friends won't forget!

Ron and his daughter arrived ahead of schedule in order to start on time, which was great. The music and karaoke selections were terrific and several large binders of karaoke songs were available so people could choose a song to sing. They were very professional, organized, friendly and accommodating at our company Holiday Party. I would definitely hire this company again for a future event.

Ron and his daughter were excellent. Very nice people. The party was so much fun. The kids loved the music, they were dancing and singing karaoke. My daughter had the best time dancing the whole party. I definitely recommend them. You will be very happy!

After our first DJ canceled at the last minute, I contacted Cape and Islands Entertainment concerned that my Wedding Reception was going to go up in flames. Ron and Emilie provided outstanding services; their vocals were terrific - both young and old enjoyed them. They catered to the needs of all of my family members and friends! Everybody was up and dancing and everyone had fun.
I wasn't sure about the karaoke at first; but it worked out really great. Ron and Emilie provided an excellent blend of DJ Services, Live Vocals and Karaoke (at the end of the reception). They get my highest recommendation - it was a great party - you should hire them!

Arriving early, Ron set up quickly giving us time to talk about the music we wanted and to plan the evening. An eclectic group with varying musical tastes. Some of the guests requests which seemed pretty far out. Ron was so accommodating. He went on-line and downloaded songs that out edgier guests loved. This was over and above the call of duty but he did it and it made our friends feel very welcome. Ron has a great singing voice as does Emilie. He provided great entertainment during cocktails. As the evening wore on, lubrication levitated us to new levels of lyrical bravery and soon we were all singing like the rock stars we would love to be.

Ron and Emile were terrific to work with. They were very patient with our younger guests which we greatly appreciated. They also played a great mix of music as we had quite an age range of guests.

Ron and Mary were professional: on-time, friendly, fully-equipped, reassuring. They were easy to contact and to communicate with. The event went very well. My only complaint is that the sound levels (voices vs. music) seemed a bit problematic - sometimes it seemed that the music was too loud or too soft compared to the voice.

I’m a bit puzzled. We had 150 people at this event from all over the world (+,- 20 countries) - literally, from Germany to Japan/Korea and we accommodated their need for “foreign language karaoke" by setting up two systems - one to You Tube, and the other to our karaoke library. Regarding sound, sometimes inexperienced singers shut off their microphones inadvertently - however, one way or another, we will be sure to be even more careful in the future re. balancing sound quality. We received a very generous $100.00 tip, so ... I think Michael is a bit of a tough grader, and his overall satisfaction score of 4 out of 5 is what I’ll be happy with. We enjoyed this gig!

I would not hesitate for a minute to hire them again or recommend them for a party. We had karaoke earlier in the evening and guests weren't ready for karaoke at first and Ron and Emily played some music and sang (great voices). Very personable and encouraged a few to sing along and that got the party rolling and then the requests wouldn't stop. Great response from our guests they had a great time with karaoke.
