Music became my passion when I was about five years old. Like many kids, my introduction to music was through the artists my parents listened to. The Beatles, The Who, Michael Jackson and Paul Simon were favorites in our house. After my dad began to discover all the scratched up CDs and records in his collection, I began purchasing music with birthday card money and my weekly allowance. The first CD I ever bought was a 10-song Beach Boys compilation I found in a bargain bin at the nearby Pay 'n Save. I loved how fun, catchy and simple all the songs were. They made me feel genuinely excited to be alive, like no feeling I've felt before or since. I wished they lasted longer than two minutes! A short time later, I saw Michael J. Fox wailing "Johnny B. Goode" on the guitar in 'Back to the Future' and thought, "that's what I want to do." My dad helped me find my first guitar. By high school, I had formed my first band, and was playing shows locally. This gave me my first opportunity to play music in front of a live audience. The excitement of performing in a public setting is a feeling I've never grown tired of, and helped form a natural path for me to pursue DJing. I first began DJing in a public setting five years ago, but I've been sharing music and making mixes for friends and family for as long as I can remember. I've spent more than two decades building a library of musical knowledge that I use to create the ultimate soundtrack for each client.
