Professional Storytelling & Face Painting Artist Kelly Ann Moore Hughes (Miss Kelly, the owner of Tangerine Tales) is a published children's book artist, storyteller & writer, who lives here in Ballard (Seattle, Wa) with her husband, Dan Hughes. They love their local community! In 2008, after moving from the east coast, Miss Kelly started Tangerine Tales at the Ballard Farmer's Market, in front of Clover Toys. There she promoted her company by face painting and her magical business took off with soaring success. Since then, you can find Miss Kelly (and the Tangerine Tales "dream team" of teachers) busy every weekend entertaining at birthday parties, store events, company picnics, music festivals, camps, school enrichment classes and so much more! When she is not busy traveling around Seattle area for Tangerine Tales you will find her creating at the their art studio, designing new art, rehearsing the next story, taking walks to the Locks & Golden Gardens, playing with her two cats Amelie & Atticus and writing her next children's book at a local coffee shop!

Kelly was absolutely perfect for this party and I believe she could work with all ages ! She provided us with face painting, goodie bags which I could never have done as well, and incredible smile and fun disposition. Thank you Kelly-we will have you back as soon as theres another party!

We were hesitant because of the cost but Kelly was amazing. The kids loved her! She was very fun and worked hard to make sure every child had her special attention. We look forward to having her at our next kids event. Thanks Kelly! You Rock!
