Hi, I’m Diana! I’m a classically trained flutist based in Northern California, and I provide live music for weddings, receptions, private dinners, and other special occasions. I have performed at more than 50 formal dinners, receptions, and special events, often in elegant settings where the music is an important part of the atmosphere. I’m comfortable providing anything from a short featured performance to several hours of background music, and I know how to choose music that complements an event without overwhelming conversation. For weddings, I can play as guests arrive, throughout the ceremony, and during cocktail hour. My repertoire includes classical music as well as romantic contemporary songs, and I’m always happy to learn special requests when possible. I enjoy working with each couple to choose music that feels personal and suits the atmosphere they have in mind. I studied flute at the Rimsky-Korsakov Music College in St. Petersburg and have performed as a solo, chamber, and orchestral musician, including at the Mariinsky Theatre Concert Hall. Most recently, I received second place in the North State Symphony Young Artist Auditions.
