Porterhouse Bob and The Zulu Coconuts are a New Orleans Second-line Mardi Gras Funk and Boogie band in the style of Dr John, Jon Cleary, Professor Longhair, The Meters and Rebirth Brass Band. We have entertained thousands all over the west coast for over 25 years. We provide the hip shakin' beat for your Mardis Gras party, festival, or themed event. Many of our compositions are fresh and original, and we do some recognizable cover tunes as well. The band comes complete with sound system.
