I booked Dr. Hoke to play for my first wedding anniversary and my wife and I absolutely loved the experience.
Dr. Hoke is an amazing musician. He was able to play all of the requested tunes and played them with absolute perfection.
I would highly recommend his services for any special occasion.

Working with Dr. Hoke was an absolute pleasure. The wedding planning process is incredibly overwhelming and I cannot explain fully how grateful I was to have found Justin. He was professional, quick to respond, and accommodating during every point of our planning with him. Concerts and music in general, especially guitar, have been a big part of my life and it was important to me that we find someone with real talent to play during our wedding ceremony. We were blown away by Justin's repertoire and the skill with which he performed some of our non-traditional requests. We received so many compliments on the ceremony music and I cannot recommend him more highly.

18 days before my wedding I was panicking because a family friend who was supposed to play guitar at our ceremony backed out. Justin eased my mind by responding quickly and accommodating the list of songs that I had already compiled before talking to him, even those that weren't in his repertoire. His quick communication was very reassuring so close to my wedding. His previous experience with beach weddings and his own sound system were an added benefit. I heard nothing but compliments from my guests. Justin was great at timing his music perfectly to the ceremony and his guitar music was a perfect addition to my wedding at Ocean Isle Beach.

Justin was awesome to work with! He was very helpful with the music selection and made the process easy for us. We wanted a particular song for our recessional and Justin was more than happy to learn it for us! We liked him so much we asked him to play for the cocktail hour as well. His range of music is very broad so you get a nice variety. He is very professional and extremely talented. Hire Justin for your wedding, you will not be disappointed!

Our only daughter was married this past weekend in a magnificent seaside wedding. The groom, being an avid guitar fan, requested that guitar music be included in their ceremony. Justin's video music was so classically extraordinary, we all immediately knew that was the only music we would need! From the prelude through the recessional, Justin's playing was the absolute perfect pairing with the emotion and reverence of the occasion. Not only was every selection easily heard over the wind and waves, but Justin's music completely enhanced the enchantment of this special day for everyone! He went above and beyond expectations. He played near the window of where the bridal party,ladies were sequestered.He also moved inside and played during dinner. My daughter, the bride, is ADD / deficits,and could not envision,or get gist of Justin's talent on line.He welcomed us to his home and played for her so she could choose her songs and set up wedding music. It meant the world to her and me,because sHe then could put it all together. The comments from everyone regarding his playing,were extensive. He also followed up with note to me and family regarding his thanks for having him there.
My only regret is I was too busy to hear it all !

Justin was an excellent guitarist! He played instrumental songs for our wedding ceremony and fun/upbeat lyrical songs for our cocktail hour and dinner. He was easy to work with, very kind, and accommodating. He is clearly a professional musician. We received many compliments about his music. He even learned two new instrumental songs for our ceremony, and followed directions we gave about where to start the songs, etc. perfectly. I would highly recommend him!

We booked the band, LaCi and the Pool Boys, for our wedding reception 4-11-15 in New Bern, NC. This band is AMAZING! They knew exactly what to play to get our guests dancing! I can't remember a single moment when there weren't people on the dance floor having a blast. The dance floor was packed at the end of the night, the guests even chanted "ENCORE" for more when the reception was coming to an end.
Justin Hoke is not only a band member but also served as our immediate contact for all the reception details. He was professional and accommodating and truly was a pleasure to work with.
I would recommend this band 1,000 times over, they are a blast!

Hiring Justin Hoke was absolutely the best decision I made for my wedding. My guests are still talking about how awesome and talented he was! He arrived early to set up, helped to MC the wedding so we didn't miss anything, and everyone enjoyed dancing all night! It was awesome to have live music from someone so talented and had all 75 guests thoroughly entertained! Justin was so nice and easy to work with, I really got to enjoy listening to his music and dancing at my own wedding! I wish I could have another wedding and hire him again!!
