Richard Rorex: Holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Music From Cornish College of the Arts ,and a Masters Degree in Teaching. Well versed in several styles of music : Bossa Nova, jazz and contemporary styles. Musical influences range from Segovia to George Benson, Wes Montgomery to Jimi Hendrix. Preforms as a soloist or occasionally With a trio of guitar bass and drums. I have strong music reading skills. And I have worked as a pit musician for the shows: West side story, Little shop of Horrors . Matilda, and Joseph and the amazing Technicolor Dream Coat. I am able to preform for Formal or Informal events. Weddings,private parties, etc; I have performed extensively Throughout the northwest, California, and Alaska as working on a cruise line I worked for 25 years as a lounge musician playing guitar and vocals in ensembles ranging from 4 piece to 8 piece bands.
