Sergio de Gouveia is a Mediterranean guitarist based in Miami, performing across South Florida and worldwide. He is a graduate of Berklee College of Music and has spent over eight years playing weddings, private celebrations, and corporate events in rooms like the Four Seasons Surf Club, The Ritz-Carlton, Fontainebleau Miami Beach, The Breakers, and Boca Raton Resort & Club. The sound sits somewhere between the Spanish coast and Miami. Classical and Mediterranean pieces as guests arrive, then Latin, flamenco, and modern hits as the energy lifts. Every piece is memorized, so he can roam the room, play beside a table, walk an aisle, or stay in the corner and let the music hold the space. For ceremonies, songs are chosen one at a time with the couple, from the prelude through the processional and recessional. For longer evenings he also DJs, hosts bilingually on the mic, and brings in curated ensembles in rumba flamenca, vintage jazz, or Latin, from a duo up to a full group.
