Steve holds a BA in Music Education from the Crane School of Music, SUNY Potsdam and is the music director at Venice High School, serving as the conductor of orchestras, guitar and piano. Steve has experience performing in all settings-jazz, acoustic rock, string quartets, rock bands and knows a vast wealth of material from different genres of music. He uses this experience, combined with his experience of creating public performance events for young musicians, to provide an adaptable style of music for any given setting. He believes his flexibility, combined with being able to perform on several instruments, makes him the best fit for settings that may require a "scene change." For instance; when performing for weddings Steve plays classical guitar for prelude and ceremony music, then switches over to acoustic guitar with vocals for cocktail hour and receptions/first dance. When playing parties Steve can perform songs that everyone will recognize; children's songs all the way up to Sinatra. Steve has two sound systems to allow a smooth transition from one setting to the next (like wedding on the beach, cocktail hour inside etc) and has a battery powered system for beach and outdoor settings.
