Annastezhaa-Harpist Harpist from Denver, CO

I am a classically trained Harpist and violinist of over 20 years, based Primarily in Denver, LA and NYC, and very proud to present the unique art and craft of Harp music - available for any kind of event! I can play all styles - from classical, to jazz (standards and contemporary) improvisational, folk, pop, rock, religious, etc. I have privately studied with many notable teachers, such as Judy Wylie (Juilliard school) and Stirling Trent (Juilliard school, Colorado symphony, Kansas Symphony) ,along with Hillary Schefter (Eastman school of music) and mentored by grammy-award nominated harpist Brandee younger. I'm a proud graduate of the Denver school of the arts. Now a freelancing artist, i'm always searching for new opportunities to grow as a musician and artist through performance, improvisation, and composition. In recent years, I've performed with, recorded with and studied under the distinguished composers and musicians: Alicia Keys, Stevie Wonder, Robert Glasper, Karriem Riggens, Derrick hodge, India.Arie, Brandy, Common, Isaiah Sharkey, Brandee younger, Keyon Harrold, Chakah Khan, Kamasi Washington, Wu Tang Clan, and Parris Flemming (Harry styles band). I've also participated in mainstream television appearances on major channels such as CNN, FOX, and NBC. I have had multiple performances at renowned venues such as Red Rocks, Walt Disney concert hall and Carnegie Hall-and have appeared in various independent film scores (favorite being “Alice” ,2022 - starring Keke Palmer) As a multi-instrumentalist at heart, my current musical passions beyond the harp (the main instrument) are singing, and playing traditional style on the Koto (a Japanese zither, or table harp). I've has had the honor to study privately with the renowned Denver-based Koto, Shamisen and Shakuhachi master musician Yoko Hiraoka. These studies are put to creative use as I am 1/4th of the coveted Denver-based quartet, Ramakhandra- as the harpist, vocalist, and kotoist, performing at all major venues in Denver and beyond.
