Martha Mapes is a prominent harpist in both Chicago and northwest Indiana. Classically trained in harp since the age of ten by Julliard alumnus Beverly Myrow, Martha has shown to be a professional and mature artist dedicated to her craft. She has been the principal harpist of the Northwest Indiana Youth Orchestra, played with South Park's Harp Angels, and performed for Blue Lake Fine Arts Center. She also volunteers at the University of Chicago as a music therapist. She is currently studying at Columbia College Chicago. Martha is looking forward to providing a unique touch to your special event with beautiful harp music.
