She has played for nearly 600 wedding ceremonies! With over over 25 years of experience playing all styles of special events, she specializes in weddings. Her two most popular packages are ceremony only, or ceremony + cocktail hour. She’s also played luncheons, art openings, garden parties, holiday events, banquets, corporate meetings, and more... She enjoys helping couples pick out their wedding music, and playing in atypical venues - ceremony at Top Pot Doughnuts anyone? Ms. Schley has worked with a diverse pool of musicians including Butch Morris, Jherek Bischoff, Evan Flory-Barnes, Eyvand Kang, Christina Vantzou, Hey Marsailles, and Secret Chiefs 3. She has self-released two albums: Harp Carols (2013) and Braids of Kabuya (2018). Her latest book, “Songs of Hildegard von Bingen for Harp” was published by Mel Bay Publications in 2024. As a composer, Ms. Schley has been commissioned for several multi-media public shows, including Seattle Center Next50 with fiber artist Mandy Greer. She performed and toured in Ahamefule Oluo's critically acclaimed show, “Now I'm Fine,” including a 6-day sold out show at New York's Public Theater in 2016. With her band, The Daphnes, she has been featured by The Sorrento Hotel, Bellevue Art Museum, Seattle Art Museum, and Chihuly Museum and Glass.
