I am a harpist, pianist, organist available for weddings, funerals, events and celebrations in the Indianapolis, Indiana area. I have done weddings for 20 years and am familiar with classical wedding repertoire as well as a wide range and style of wedding music. I am also sensitive to the unique wishes and character of each couple. I play organ, piano, and harp and have found many times a couple will want organ for some things during the ceremony, harp for other times, and piano for yet others. I am also very comfortable accompanying singers. Along with the traditional wedding music for harp or piano I have enjoyed playing contemporary romantic music for weddings. Train's "Marry Me" is beautiful on harp or piano, as is "A Thousand Years" and "Wonderful Tonight" and pieces like that. Many couples like a mixture of classical and contemporary with some folk music added. The harp I use is a Lyon & Healy and the piano I can transport is a Roland with a lovely grand piano sound and the ability to add other features such as strings underneath. I have made wedding CD's on harp, piano, and organ I give to couples to help them choose music as well as music lists for other events. I enjoy each event I play for and every wedding couple becomes very special to me.
