Wendy is a Juilliard graduate and a full time professional harpist who has played in a wide variety of settings – from concerts to all types of special occasions throughout CT, the New York area, and beyond. Wendy plays classical as well as popular music, including contemporary songs and covers, love songs, standards and Broadway and Disney favorites, and Celtic, Italian and Jewish and Sacred selections. In addition to her extensive solo work, Wendy plays in duos with violinists, flutists, singers, in trios with cello, and larger groups, too. She specializes in making the music fit the occasion and receives raves for her musicality, her presentation and reliability. She has a small amplifier she can provide, and a larger sound system for bigger groups or venues, and she can even amplify vows or other speaking. She can also bring a small tent for outdoor situations. She has performed for the Queen of Thailand, and other dignitaries, and has played frequently at private residences, business and leading locations throughout the area including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, La Panetiere restaurant, the Indian Harbor Yacht Club in Greenwich, and the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library in Boston. Ms. Kerner is the principal harpist in the Norwalk and Ridgefield Symphonies in CT and is a founding member of the Irish music group Themselves. She is an adjunct Professor of Harp at Sacred Heart University and she has also served on the Board of the American Harp Society. F
