The Hoop Incident is made of performers Grace Riemer and Michael Krueger. They began in the summer of 2014 along the streets of Mackinaw City, MI as hula hoop dancers. Since then, they have taken up poi, levisticks, fire fans, fire hoops, and fire eating. They put on various workshops around Northern Michigan, primarily targeted at children, to demonstrate modern hoop dance and basic beginner movements. They are also available for parties, festivals and other events.
