Jace: Illusionist and Hypnotist Illusionist from New Paltz, NY

My name is Josh but I go by my performer name Jace. I have been practicing and performing magic everyday for over 10 years. In that short amount of time I have performed at Corporate events, Restaurants, Festivals, Weddings, Colleges, Sweet Sixteens, Bar/Bat Mitzvah's, themed events such as, but not limited to Halloween, Fourth of July and New Year's parties and much more. No venue is too big or small. With that said I don't do kids parties. Only 13 and up please. I fell in love with close up magic in particular due to the lack of a stage and the ability to perform seeming miracles in front of peoples faces. I got my start in restaurant magic at the Gilded Otter in New Paltz, NY; performing for people at tables while they waited for their food to arrive. It is this style of constant performing that elevated my skill level so quickly. I specialize in Close-up Magic and Hypnosis where I use cards, coins, borrowed object and more to create little miracles with a big impact, People even get to keep some of these impossible objects from those moments. I also have a Hypnosis stage show. Over the last year I have also introduced a new skill set to my performances. Hypnosis. Many people think that Hypnosis isn't real. I didn't even think it was real at first, I at least had my reservations about it at first until I leaned about it and performed it. Hypnosis is now a main attraction that I have added to my arsenal. I always explain what hypnosis is and isn't and takes care of those I hypnotize while also still having fun and entertaining the audience. My hypnosis show is not to be missed!
