Emma & James Music is a polished live duo known for smoky, expressive vocals, strong musicianship, and a cinematic, story-driven sound that blends indie-blues and alternative rock. Our duo format creates an intimate, emotionally engaging atmosphere that is ideal for corporate events, private parties, upscale celebrations, dinner venues, wineries, breweries, and curated community gatherings. As an original act, our performances feature story-driven original songs along with select covers that fit naturally within our style, creating a cohesive and memorable live experience. We’re a strong fit for clients who want live music that feels distinctive, classy, and more meaningful than a standard party band experience. For events that call for a fuller presentation, we can also expand to a trio, either with cajón/percussion for a more acoustic feel or with full drum kit for added energy and presence. For select events, we offer an expanded full-band option with drums, bass, guitar, and vocals, with optional brass or string players available for an additional charge. For many events, professional sound reinforcement and full PA support can be provided depending on venue needs and date availability. For smaller spaces, we can also offer a more intimate self-contained setup when appropriate.
