Brooklyn Bards Irish Band from Brooklyn, NY

The Brooklyn Bards are a premier acoustic traditional Irish band in the New York Metro area, based in Brooklyn. Instruments featured include tin whistle, fiddle, tenor banjo, mandolin, guitar, bass and percussion. The band has been performing for over twelve years around the tri-state area at many Irish pubs, restaurants, weddings, ceilis and festivals. All of our musicians have over twenty five years experience playing music professionally. We do everything from the old Carolan tunes up to recent traditional repertoire and Celtic rock including reels, jigs, ballads, drinking songs, marches and rebel songs. Popular sing-a-longs as well as classic oldies, pop and rock tunes can also be part of our show if desired. We have a variety of pro quality sound systems which we tailor to the size of your event. We would love to bring the magic of traditional Irish music to your event.
