I am a solo entertainer. I sing Irish songs & play Irish tunes, and I have been doing it for more than 30 years. I studied arranging at the Berklee School in Boston and so I write my own backing music. You always receive the sound of at least a four-piece band. I also provide virtuoso performances on the button accordion (Irish Accordion).
Although I have specialized in Irish music for a long time, that is only part of the story. I spent three years entertaining in English pubs in NJ & a good number of Scottish dates. I have played diverse music styles: The Lighthouse – a Cuban restaurant, The Cheshire Cat, and Zickelbaur's Haufbrau -- Oktoberfest Music -- to name a few. I perform rock standards and pop music along with sing-alongs and much more. It is not as important as where one has performed in the past as how one performs now. Check out the samples!!!
My performance is completely self-contained. I supply an excellent sound system -- which has a volume control and a generator for outdoor performances Contact me for more samples of my performance.
CONS:
First: I usually do not perform outdoors, my equipment will not function in bright sunlight,
Second: I do not stroll.
Third: I do not sing the German songs. They are produced as a DJ.
Fourth: I don't drink (LOL)

Luke seems like a very nice person but he was late for our event .. He was supposed to start at 7PM but arrived at 7 and by the time he set up it was 7:30. His table was broken and we had to provide one for him.
He took requests but he told some people it "wasn't his first rodeo" when they asked for certain music. It was more like karaoke as he sang many of the songs. He also seemed to have trouble reading the monitor. On the plus side he stayed until the end of our party and he did get people up dancing. His fee is high for this type of music I think. I am sorry to write this review but I have to be honest. Some people liked it and others were disappointed.

I left at 4:11 for the gig. Because of incredible traffic I was diverted 50 miles off my intended route!! It was a senior St Patrick's Celebration. Immediately after the opening Irish number the host came to me & said, "Play regular music." I asked what was the "regular" music desired. I received no reply. When I performed a ballad I was told to play dance music. When I performed up tempo tunes, I was told play something slow for the romantic people. I only received four requests that evening: merengue, cha cha cha, Danny Boy & Doo Wop. I had no trouble reading the monitor nor filling the requests. He was a really professional person with an excellent voice. Our only problem was he did not play enough German music. He did other arrangements which were not what we were looking for. Overall if he stuck with the theme we would have given him a higher rating.
