Birthday Party (Adult)Reviewed on February 4, 2019From Staten Island, NY

I hired The Rose of Omagh for my mother’s birthday luncheon as a surprise for her and went with two acoustic musicians playing whistle, Irish flute, guitar and vocals. They were quick to respond to my questions and very organized. They arrived early to the event space, braving some bad weather to get there. Anne and Gabriel are wonderful people, and amazing musicians! My mother was so excited; I think she hugged them first before anyone else in the room! Everyone attending commented on how fantastic they were. Having The Rose of Omagh at the party made it very special and memorable. I highly recommend them and would absolutely hire them again.

Birthday Party (Adult)Reviewed on June 25, 2018From Queens Village, NY

Lovely people; gracious; easy to work with; tailored their performance to our group, which was scattered throughout several rooms of a large home enjoying a family reunion and not always paying attention to the performance -- but the music wafted through the building and lifted everyone's spirits!

Thank you, Bernadette and Evan! Your family gathering for your cousin’s birthday was the perfect setting for the style of music we perform. It was great to accompany your daughters Eileen and Mary dancing a double jig so that they can keep alive the tradition of Irish step dancing for your family.

Birthday Party (Adult)Reviewed on November 4, 2016From Sergeantsville, NJ

The Rose of Omagh performed at my father-in-law's 80th birthday party. He is Irish as were many of the guests. There was also a mix of non-Irish guests and kids as young as 5 years old. Everyone enjoyed the music! The playlist and quality of sound was impeccable. Much praise for their professionalism during the entire process. Anne responded immediately to my initial inquiry, and was great with follow-up questions and booking arrangements. I highly recommend!!!

This was a very good band. There were really good communications leading up to the event. We wanted to have a family sing-a-long and the band was very accommodating. Exceeded our expectations!

Birthday Party (Adult)Reviewed on September 3, 2016From Lansdale, PA

The Rose of Omagh played my Grandfather's 95th Birthday. We will thrilled with our experience with them. Not only are they talented musicians, but they were pleasant to spend the afternoon with. They very sensitive to the the older crowd (with dementia) as they requested songs and attempted to sing along. They also played every request that my Grandfather and his bother made, though it veered from their set playlist. They were extremely flexible and have a wonderful ability to gauge their crowd. No matter the occasion, The Rose of Omagh will not disappoint! Thanks again for both your great music and spirit!

Private PartyReviewed on August 21, 2016From Philadelphia, PA

These are three very talented musicians who play traditional Irish music "as it should be played". Those are the words of several guests who are from Ireland. We will have them again at one of our parties.

We hired Rose of Omagh to play my mother in law's surprise 75th birthday party. They were extremely professional and accommodating. The music was great and they were genuinely nice people. We were so fortunate to find such a great group to play the party.

Perfection is the most appropriate word for the The Rose of Omagh. I took a chance booking on Gigmasters and our family couldn't have been happier with the outcome for my father and laws Birthday Party. Our guests ranging from 5 years old to 80 years old really loved it. The Irish music added to the atmosphere and enhanced the party for everyone, making it extra special. Anne and the band took care of every detail from booking until the end of the event. All I had to do was open the door and they took care of everything else for the evening. After the band left the guests continued to talk about how great they were. I can highly recommend them for any occasion!

Birthday Party (Adult)Reviewed on November 22, 2015From Essex Fells, NJ

I hired the Rose of Omagh for a housewarming party in September and liked them so much that I hired them again for my (very Irish) mother's birthday party two months later. They advertise that they are reminiscent of a "real" traditional pub session and having lived nearly a decade in Ireland, I can say that they could sit in with the best. Excellent.

The duo was so accommodating and professional. Peppy without being too loud. Some residents got up to dance to the upbeat music. Would definitely recommend them. Dot Folz Director of Marketing

Saint Patrick's Day PartyReviewed on March 20, 2016From Morton, PA

Rose of Omaha did a great job in my venue with there performance. It seemed like all the crowd enjoyed their music. The only thing I would recommend is being more interactive with the crowd.

:

As advertised we are an an Irish pub band - not an Americanized Irish rock band or an Irish band that caters to tourists. We perform in traditional pub style - not chatty or not like some of the non-traditional pub bands in Ireland that cater to foreign tourists and have talkative front men who help make up for the fact that the band really isn't that talented. In a three hour time span we pump out a ton of music ranging from jigs, reels, hornpipes, marches, traditional Irish drinking songs, new Pogue drinking songs, folk songs and ballads. I am sorry this client was not satisfied with the effort we made on her behalf for only $475 (she said she was on a budget).
