Patrick was the first musician to get back to me when I posted that I needed someone to play at my mother's Irish wake, and he was so kind and sympathetic. I looked at a couple of other bands, but chose Whiskey Sunday, in part because I was impressed with his fast response and personal kindness. But I was even more impressed with the band at our funeral service. They had great range, from slow, melancholy Celtic tunes, to energetic Irish and Americana tunes. We had nothing but sincere compliments afterwards on "the band". Patrick's beautiful rendition of "The Parting Glass" left many in tears. Whiskey Sunday was the perfect band for us.

Talented, energized, accessible, and professional, this band was the highest of highlights for my husband’s Celebration of Life. Whiskey Sunday nailed the event with deep feeling, tender moments mixed alongside lighthearted foot-stomping fun. Exactly what we needed. Leader Patrick Rieger’s song selection brought me the sound of home, finding the best felt lyrics and tunes to honor our loved one. My family and friends are still praising Whiskey Sunday! I highly recommend this outstanding Irish Band that plays with passion!

Whiskey Sunday was the perfect band to kick off Irish American month at our community event. They were wonderful storytellers and played a wonderful mix of old Irish Ballads, foot stomping music, and original pieces. The drum played by Patrick was so interesting and really brought a little something new to our attendees.

Best band ever!! They are kind, fun, easy going, and talented. We wanted a laid back wedding celebration and weren't planning on a ceremony in front of our guests, but on the morning of the party Patrick offered to do one for us. We agreed and just told him we wanted something short and sweet. We were fabulously delighted with everything he put into the ceremony; it was perfect and moving, and everyone loved it. Throughout the whole party everyone kept saying how awesome the music was and how much fun the party was because of them. They are an exceptional group of people and we would absolutely love to use or at least see them play again! Thanks Whiskey Sunday!!!!!

Whiskey Sunday was awesome and helped make our party a great success. They completely accommodated the request to have a setlist of upbeat Irish music (new and old) to keep all the party guests engaged in the celebration and on their feet dancing. They are very good musicians and interacted well with the guests. The band arrived on time, and in the emails shared prior to the event, J.R. made sure they had all the pertinent info for the party. I would definitely hire them again; they're very professional and easy to work with.
