About Vendor

Learn more about this vendor for your event.

Known as a Modern Day Crooner, Gian Faraone is a critically-acclaimed vocalist and recording artist based in NYC who considers himself an old-fashioned entertainer. Incorporating the signature sounds of the great voices from the big band era combined with the romantic style from his Latino-Italian roots, this talented and charismatic crooner delivers a modern throwback on classic standards on a performance you will not forget. Nicknamed “The Crooner of Venezuela”, Faraone grew up in Caracas and moved to the U.S. in 2008 after receiving a scholarship to study at Berklee College of Music in Boston. A multi-cultural upbringing and fluency in three languages (Spanish, English and Italian), has given Faraone a continental appeal. After graduating from Berklee, Faraone has performed for numerous well-respected audiences, including performances for Maestro Gustavo Dudamel at Lincoln Center, The New York Friars Club, Birdland Jazz Club, The Boston Symphony Hall, The Berklee Performance Center, The VAEA Annual Gala for personalities such as: Carolina Herrera, Calvin Klein, Bob Colacello, Julian Schnabel, Margot Benacerraf, Damian Woetzel (President of The Juilliard School), Prince Dimitri of Yugoslavia and Graydon Carter; Mayor of New Rochelle Noam Bramson for the city’s annual Holiday Tree Lighting, Governor of Massachusetts Charlie Baker, Mayor of Boston Thomas M. Menino at the Boston Exhibition & Convention Center, Mayor Marty Walsh at “The Boston Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony”, U.S. Ambassadors in Venezuela Lee McClenny and Todd Robinson, former world boxing champions Tony DeMarco and Vinny Paz, Boston Celtics Legend Bill Russell, The Boston City Hall Plaza Concert Series, among other important venues in The U.S. Also known as “The Venezuelan Sinatra”, in his native land, Faraone has performed to sold-out crowds all across the nation. His latest tour titled “Dear Sinatra”, sponsored by the U.S. Embassy in Venezuela which celebrated Sinatra’s centennial, broke records of attendance in every city. Beloved by his fans and always keeping a close relationship with his roots, Faraone has established himself as one of the most critically-acclaimed vocalists in Venezuela. Faraone has been featured on FOX News, NBC, Telemundo, Univision, RAI Italia, as well as the main TV & Radio stations in Venezuela. Also, he has performed alongside great artists like Al Martino, Connie Francis, Patti Austin, Tony Orlando, Yo-Yo Ma, Brian McKnight, The Platters, The Drifters, All 4-One, Chicago, The Stylistics, Village People, Katherine McPhee, The Duprees, The Manhattans, Peaches & Herb, Bonnie Pointer, Jane Monheit, Ann Hampton Callaway, Marilyn Maye, Jo Sullivan Loesser, Shannon, Tavares, The Tokens, Lisa Lisa, Boston POPS conductor Keith Lockhart, The Radio City Rockettes, Oscar D’León, among others.
