Northern Fried has been one of New England’s most reliable live draws for 25 years. Based in the Boston area, this tight five-piece delivers high-energy Roots, Rock, and R&B — classic rock, southern rock, New Orleans funk, reggae, and R&B — that keeps dance floors full and audiences coming back all night. With a deep catalog spanning the Allman Brothers, Little Feat, Steely Dan, The Meters, Phish, and original material, Northern Fried is equally at home at a packed brewery, a summer waterfront series, or a private celebration. The band has performed at Newport Craft Brewing, Hog Island Beer Yard, Captain Nick’s on Block Island, and opened for Ringo Starr & His All-Starr Band at the Bank of NH Pavilion. Self-contained act with own PA. Available for club dates, breweries, corporate events, weddings, private parties, and festivals throughout New England. When Northern Fried takes the stage, you get five seasoned musicians who've spent 25 years perfecting the art of the live show. Expect a high-energy, crowd-driven performance built around Roots, Rock, and R&B — the Allman Brothers, Little Feat, Steely Dan, The Meters, Grateful Dead, Phish, Hall & Oates, SRV, and more — woven together with the kind of chemistry that only comes from playing together for a quarter century. The band features guitar, slide guitar, keys and organ, bass, drums, percussion, and multi-part vocal harmonies. Sets run 2–3 hours with short breaks, or continuous by request. Northern Fried reads the room — they can groove as a musical backdrop for a cocktail hour or kick it into high gear to fill a dance floor at a wedding reception or corporate event. Clients get a Self-contained act — own PA, mics, and all equipment. Stage minimum 20x12 ft. Standard power outlets x2. Setup time 75 minutes, soundcheck 15–20 minutes. Performs 2–3 sets with short breaks, or continuous sets by request.
