hi,
I play an eclectic blend of American and Latin jazz standards, rock and pop renditions - not covers - and original music - influenced by all of the above. Musical influences range from Joe Pass, Wes Montgomery, Bill Frisell on the jazz side and Beatles and Beatles to mention a couple.
My music is most conducive to wedding cocktail hours, office receptions, wineries, restaurants, and home parties - anywhere nylon string or jazz guitar is appropriate. I have a weekly restaurant engagement since 2010 plus other recurring gigs. I'm accustom to staying under the conversation, but can entertain when appropriate. I have a good sense of humor. My set list can be tailored to your party with reasonable notice and you can visit my website for reviews and contact me for a set list of songs. Thanks for your interest and hope to hear from you. Any events outside of 50 miles will include travel compensation to be negotiated on individual basis.

Ford was exactly what we wanted for our event. His selection of songs was interesting and appropriate, and the volume of his music didn't overwhelm the attendees talking and mingling during our event. He was a terrific add to the 2nd year of this now annual event.

Ford was hired as a guitarist for our wedding ceremony and reception. I requested a specific song and he had no problem learning it, playing it and timing my walk down the aisle so it would be perfect. He played background music throughout our reception and did a beautiful job. We would highly recommend him for any event. He arrived early, set up and transitioned completely by himself not once asking us for a thing. He made our reception flawless, cannot thank him enough.
